Welcome to Sri Lanka Spice Cuisine, where the vibrant flavors of South Asia come to life! Founded in January 2025 by Dharshini Spittler, our food truck brings the unique and healthy dishes of Sri Lanka to the heart of Boise, Idaho.

Dharshini's culinary journey began in Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka, a beautiful island nation known as Ceylon. Growing up, she was immersed in the rich culinary traditions of her homeland, learning the art of blending healthy herbs and spices to create flavorful and nourishing meals. Her passion for cooking was ignited at a young age, assisting the cooks in her family home and developing a keen sense for tasting and critiquing dishes, inspired by her father's discerning palate.

In 2001, Dharshini moved to Boise, Idaho, where she has been a resident for nearly 25 years. Her love for cooking continued to blossom as she entertained family and friends with her authentic Sri Lankan dishes. Her husband, William Spittler Jr., an artist with a flair for creative Western cuisine, encouraged her to share her culinary talents with a wider audience.

Sri Lanka Spice Cuisine is the culmination of Dharshini's dream to introduce the unique and healthy flavors of her homeland to the Boise community. Our menu features a variety of traditional Sri Lankan dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and a special blend of herbs and spices that offer numerous health benefits.
